[Class 40 (v)] [Also in Group XL (a)] A high-power valve arrangement comprises two valves assembled together and connected by pipes carrying cooling liquid which serve also as input and output transmission lines. The pipe coupled to input loop B<SP>1</SP> is connected to control grid supporting-rings 5, 9; 51, 9<SP>1</SP>, and the pipes coupled to output loop B<SP>2</SP> are connected to the double-walled anode at 35, 39; 351, 391. A box-like shield is connected to the screen-grid rings 21, 44.
