609,543. Valve amplifying circuits. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. March 15, 1946, No. 8120. Convention date, July 31, 1941. Addition to 544,641. [Class 40 (v)] In a high - frequency amplifier as described in the parent Specification, in which the input and output circuits are connected to separate cathode leads, one or both leads having an inductive character which is utilized in conjunction with the capacities to the control grid to reduce the input damping, the degree of feed-back is adjusted by means of an inductance L3 interconnecting the cathode leads. The input and output circuits may alternatively be connected to adjustable taps on the inductance (Fig. 2, not shown), or the inductance may be connected between the circuits and the cathode leads joined to the tapping points (Fig. 3, not shown).
