A T-junction in a pipeline in which pig balls are used for separation and/or movement of products along the line comprises a collar 5 surrounding and secured by end plates 7 to the main pipeline 1, 1<SP>1</SP> so as to provide a flow chamber 6 to which the branch line 8 is connected, communication between the flow chamber and the main pipeline being provided by means of a restricted opening between adjacent ends of pipe sections 1, 1<SP>1</SP> or by circumferential openings 10, Fig. 4 (not shown), provided in the main pipeline.
