Abstract

640,613. Roller blinds. WEYMANN'S, Ltd., and NELSON, M. May 25, 1948, No. 14151. [Class 20(iii)] A spring roller blind 12, particularly for use on passenger vehicles, has a strip of rigid material 14 e.g. of steel, secured in the hem of the free end of the blind and projecting into channels 19 arranged on either side of the travel of the blind, the channels 19 being of less width than the strip 14 and having serrations 21 in a side wall. The blind is held in any desired position by the strip 14 wedging in the channels 19 as shown and may be released for adjustment by rotating the free edge of the strip towards the blind. U.S.A. Specification 1,952,689 is referred to.
