Abstract

638,613. Spray-producers &c. AEROSTYLE, Ltd., and DIXON, R. R. B. March 25, 1948, No. 8888. [Class 69 (iii)] A nozzle for cleaning the inner surfaces of hollow bodies by air j jets has a rotatable ring 1 carried on a spigot 2 and driven by the passage of compressed air through one or more tangential outlet passages 3, via an annular groove 5 and ducts 6. In a modification, Fig. 4, the nozzle has an additional outlet 14 in a cap nut 15 screwed to a stem 21 containing ducts 16, 17 and 20 for the passage of compressed air to the outlets 3 and 14 respectively. Rotation of the nut 15 cuts off the air supply to one or the other of the outlets. An air filter 24 is provided.
