Abstract
The conversion of hydrocarbons with steam into carbon monoxide-hydrogen mixtures is effected with a finely divided catalyst in the fluidized state. The heat required for the reaction may be transmitted to the reactor by continuously withdrawing a portion of the catalyst, heating and recycling it to the reactor.
