634,726. Draught and weather excluders. BRIGGS MANUFACTURING CO. March 10, 1947, No. 6612. Convention date, June 8, 1946. [Class 20 (iii)] Weatherstripping for vehicle doors comprises a metal retainer strip 19 which has two longitudinal channels, one 18 adapted to fit over an edge member of a vehicle door frame and the other 20 to receive the base portion 25 of a flexible sealing strip which has a tubular portion 27 adapted to engage with the door when closed and a windlace 24. The retainer strip is provided with metal prongs 22 which pierce and anchor the sealing strip. The windlace 24 may have a fabric covering' 29.
