Abstract

The anodised aluminium ornamental strip (7) is for the upright part of the frame of a vehicle door. It has two projecting braces (4, 5) to hold it onto the door post (1) formed in the usual tubular caisson from (2, 3). One end of the strip has a groove(10) defined by the projection (8, 9) to take the brace (4), and helps to form the guide sheath for the glass. The other end forms a stop for the door with the T shaped band (12) holding the strip to the brace (5) and door by the reflexed flanges (15, 16), and by (17) held in the mould (6).
