Abstract

633,604. Dustbin lids. SIMS, W. H. Jan. 22, 1948, Nos. 1917 and 13944. [Class 26] The depending flange 11 of a dustbin lid 10 is formed with an outward corrugation 12 so that, when the lid is in position, the corrugation is at a lower level than the bead 32 on the top edge of the bin 20, a substantially straight vertical lift being required to remove the lid. The lid may have an outwardly-rolled lower bead 14, and the bin may be constructed as described in Specification 633,603.
