632,834. Electric condensers combined with inductances and resistances. UNITED INSULATOR CO., Ltd., 'and BAUER, A. J. P. CHLUMECKY-. Aug. 6, 1947, No. 21478. [Class 37] [Also in Group XL(b)] A combined condenser and inductance for simulating circuit network characteristics conprises a ceramic tube 10 coated internally with a helical coating of silver 11, applied by brushing or spraying and subsequent firing in known manner, and an external longitudinally-divided cylindrical coating 12. The equivalent four terminal network is shown in Fig. 1, the capacitance being uniformly distributed over the length of the inductive coating 11. Various alternative arrangements including non-inductive resistive coatings are described.
