[Class 16] [Also in Group XVIII] A book-like display device comprises a rigid front panel la, a rigid rear panel or flap 4 slidably mounted behind and adjacent the panel 1a so that it can be drawn away from one end 1b, a strip of flexible material 5 secured to the front of the rear panel 4 and having in the region of its anchorage a portion serving as a spine carrying a series or pack of leaves 6a .... 6i arranged bookwise, each of the leaves having a marginal inner end portion 7 secured flat upon the spine so that the leaves are in spaced relation along the spine, the other end of the flexible strip 5 being secured to the back of the front panel 1a in such position that the strip 5 is stretched when the spine portion carrying the first leaf 6a is adjacent the end 1b and constraining the spine portion to roll upon itself by continued travel of the rear panel 4 away from the front panel 1a so that the leaves 6a ... 6i swing over forwardly in sequence for successive display. The front panel 1a is formed as the top of a container for the rear panel from a card folded upon itself at 1b, the edges 2 of the card being secured together and a slot 3 formed in the end 1b through which an enlarged end 4a of the panel 4 cannot pass. A tab 4b at the end of the panel 4 is provided to assist withdrawal.
