631,723. Refrigerated showcases. HILL & CO., Inc., C.V. Feb. 24, 1947, No. 13436/49. Convention date, Oct. 20, 1941. Divided out of 631,681. [Class 29]. An open-topped refrigerated self-service display case with a compartment 10 for the goods supported on a perforated shelf 14 has an air circulation passage 84 with an inlet 88 located at or below the level of the walls, and a fan 90 which draws air from the compartment downwardly over refrigerating coils 70 in the passage and returns it to the space beneath the shelf. The front of the case is closed by a glass plate 12. In a modification a fan is arranged in the air circulating passage of a display case of the kind described in Specification 631,681.
