629,527. Sighting devices. KAUDERS, L., and SVENSKA ACKUMULATOR AKTIEBOLAGET JUNGNER. Nov. 16, 1945, No. 30815. [Class 97 (i)] An auxiliary sighting device for use with firearms such as a diaphragm, dioptric sight or a lens is mounted in a ring adapted to be secured to a spectacle frame so that on adjustment of the device in the ring the optical axis of the device always passes through the centre of rotation of the eye. The device, e.g. a lens 1 of the type described in Specification 629,533 is mounted in a holder 3 clamped by a screw 2 to arc-shaped members 5, 5<SP>1</SP> on the ring 4 secured to spectacles by clips 7 and a screw 8. The members 5, 51 are curved about the centre of the eye and the lens may be moved thereover as desired. A spring between the lens holder and one of the members may retain the holder in the adjusted position. The screw 8 permits rotation of the holder about the spectacle frame.
