[Class 38 (iv)] [Also in Group XL (c)] Automatic synchronism of the centre frequencies of two oscillators 1, 2, frequencymodulated in push-pull, may be obtained by in part passing the oscillations through limiters 16, 17 and condensers C1, C2 to reciprocally-coupled pairs of diodes 18, 19 and 20, 21, having each in series a battery 22 and a condenser C3 common to both circuits. The arrangement is such that condenser C3 is charged and discharged simultaneously at the frequencies of oscillators 1 and 2 respectively, the resultant charge due to frequency-variations being applied to one of the modulators 4 to restore frequency synchronism.
