Abstract

626,379. Electric motors. IMOVILLI, S. Feb. 7, 1947, No. 3735. [Class 35] In a stator core comprising two annuli of which the inner has conductors in slots open to the outer periphery, the slots being closed by the outer annulus, a thin layer of liquidproof insulation is provided over the slot surfaces and outer periphery of the inner member. As shown, a coating 11 such as resin or rubber is applied to the inner laminated pack 3 which is held between end rings 5, 6 which engage a casing member carrying the outer laminated ring which fits over pack 3. The laminµ may be cemented together by insulation and held by insulated axially extending rods.
