626,140. Electric resonators. RADIO CORPORATION OF AMERICA. Nov. 19, 1946, No. 34307. Convention date, Nov. 19, 1945. [Class 40 (viii)] A tunable circuit for ultra-highfrequencies comprises a stator including two plates 11 arranged end to end, incomplete metal bands 9 connected to the plates at one end and integral therewith, and a connection 10 joining the other ends of the bands and a rotor 2 in capacitative relation to the stator. In the construction shown the stator is hemicylindrical and formed by cutting out portions of a metal cylinder. The rotor normally affects the inductance of the circuit as well as the capacity.
