626,102. Uniting by fusion. LINDE AIR PRODUCTS CO. April 9, 1947, No. 9487. Convention date, April 23, 1946. [Class 83 (iv)] A continuous process arc welding electrode guide and current contact shoe comprises an insulated body B with an axial bore 17, for the electrode R, and a tip A transversely screwadjustable relative to the body B to bias the electrode R into contact therewith. The tip A is loosely held in an oval hole 28 of a nut 29 screwed on to the body B for locking. The body B is keyed to the supply lead terminal block T and the tip adjusting screw S is recessed for a key.
