625,275. Two-part couplings. WESTING- HOUSE ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL CO. Aug. 14, 1946, No. 24154. Convention date, Aug. 28, 1945. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XL (a)] The output coaxial line 28, 38 of a magnetron in which a cold cathode surrounds a multicavity anode is coupled to a further coaxial line 43, 44 in a detachable manner. An expanding plug fits into the upper end of member 38, and outer conductors 44, 28 while not in direct contact are, connected through a screw joint 54, 55. Members 45, 47 are a quarter wavelength long.
