624,119. Lathe centres. DEAN, SMITH & GRACE, Ltd., PRIDGEON, H., and BINNS, A. Dec. 16, 1946, No. 36969. [Class 83 (iii)] A tailstock centre A is axially located within a sleeve C and a housing D, antifriction means F being preferably interposed between the sleeve and housing which may be locked together by means associated with the housing. The locking means comprises a recess N in the sleeve to receive a key L which is secured in the withdrawn or engaged position by a bolt K. Parts S and T serve to eject the centre. Lubricating machines.-A nipple P enables the bearings to be lubricated.
