[Also in Division F2] In order to mount two drill spindles 6 close together, a section 12 is cut out of the mounting flange 8 forming part of the outer race ring 3 of one of the rolling bearings. A similar result may be achieved by using a detachable circlip (20) (Fig. 8, not shown) in place of the flange.
