1,220,356. Bearings. GAMET PRODUCTS Ltd. 25 April, 1969 [1 Feb., 1968], No. 5239/68. Heading F2A. The outer race 1 of a taper roller bearing is provided with an integral radially extending flange 3 which is such that when the bearing is mounted by securing an outer portion of the flange in a housing, the flange can absorb limited axial movement of an element borne in the bearing. A variety of shapes of flange are described.
