[Class 24] [Also in Group XXXII] A towing connection for coupling the bumpers A and B of two vehicles comprises two similar end components, having upper clamps 3, 14 and lower clamps 4, 13, the two components being connected by links 9 and 10a, which are pivoted to allow both vertical and lateral displacements. To accommodate different types and sizes of bumper, the lower clamps 4, 13, have upright arms 4a, 13a which may be engaged in each of a number of recesses 3a, 4a, formed in the upper clamps 3, 14.
