622,413. Cables. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CABLES, Ltd., CONNING, J., and KRETSCHMER, J. M., [Representative of KRETSCHMER, H. E.]. March 20, 1947, No. 7727. [Class 36] Electric conductors are insulated with helically-lapped strips of fibrous glass impregnated with silicone grease. The fibrous glass may be impregnated with the silicone grease before being lapped on to the conductor, or a layer of silicone grease may be applied to the conductor prior to the application of the glass lapping, the covering then being consolidated by pressure to cause the grease to impregnate the glass.
