Abstract
622,018. Electromagnetic switches. C. A. V., Ltd., and WATERS, A. V. March 3, 1947, No. 5963. [Class 38(v)] In electromagnetic switches and other devices wherein a " return " movement is effected by a blade spring, the effective length of the spring as well as its initial flexure are respecpectively adjusted by axial and rotary movement of a cam or eccentric 13. In the form shown, the eccentric 13 is formed on the end of a screwed stem 11 which can be screwed into a frame 1 and locked in its final position by a lock-nut 12. The eccentric bears on the blade spring 9 which biases the armature 3, supported on another blade spring 4, against a stop 6, in which position contacts 7, 8 are separated.
