635,432. Cams and tappets. ROSE, A. G., and ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH), Ltd. April 9, 1948, No. 10035. [Class 80 (iii)] A cam mechanism having a movable arm 17 operated by a cam 20 has on the arm a roller 19 resiliently held in contact with the cam by means of a rubber insert securing the arm to a support 18. In one form, a rubber bush 21 has inner and outer sleeves 23, 22 bonded thereto, the inner sleeve being bolted to the support 18 and the outer sleeve being secured to the arm 17. In another form a part of the length of the arm 17 between the cam and the support is of rubber, the arm being bolted to the support 18. '
