Abstract

618,103. Overalls. CARR, W. G. Oct. 19, 1946, No. 31140. [Class 141] An overall comprises a trousers portion and two alternative upper portions comprising a jacket and a bib, the upper and lower portions having co-operating fastening elements. As shown in Fig. 1, the trousers 10 are provided with loops 13, 14 in front to pass through slots 17, 18 in the jacket portion 11, similar loops and slots being provided at the back of the garments. A belt, having a button and buttonhole at each end, is passed through the loops to hold the two par.ts together. The bib portion 12, Fig. 3, is provided with slots 28, 29, to receive the loops 13, 14, and buttonholes 34, 35, 36 to engage the trouser buttons 37, 38, 39. The bib is supported by braces which engage buttons 41, 43 and are provided with slots to engage the back loops on the trousers. The bib may be provided with a pocket 44, or a _pocket may be provided on a separate depending apron piece provided with slots or loops for attachment to the rest of the garment at the waist.
