Abstract
Aqueous solutions of plant extracts of which the freezing points are so near to that of water that concentration cannot be effected by freezing have added to them alcohol or other solvent to lower the freezing point to 30 DEG F. or below, and are cooled slowly to form ice and concentrate the plant extract and the added substance. The alcohol &c. may be concentrated to such an extent that the plant exact is precipitated. Specifications 617,776, 617,858 and 617,860 are referred to.
