[Classes 39 (iii) and 75 (iv)] An electric fire comprises a heating element q carried in front of a concave metal reflector d mounted in a frame b, the reflector being supported in a pair of end members e made from metal rods or tubes, each of which is slotted at one side at f, Fig. 4, to receive one end of the reflector d. Rods or wires g pass through beads h at each longitudinal edge of the reflector, and are secured in each end member e by nuts i. The end members e, and side members of frame b, each have a boss j and m respectively, to provide pivotal connection between the reflector d and frame b by means of a screw which serves as a trunnion. The two side members of the frame are joined by a tie rod o. An electric lamp or lamps may replace the heating element g.
