Abstract

615,800. Wrenches. BELL, F. S. W. Aug. 8, 1946, No. 23539. [Class 61 (iii)] [Also in Group XVII] A screw stopper remover comprises two lever handles pivoted together at 12 and provided beyond the pivot with semicircular jaws 10, 11 having serrated rubber &c. linings secured by rivets 16; one or more additional pairs of arcuate jaws 20, 21, 22, 23 may be provided on the handle side of the pivot. Projections 18, 19 on the forward ends of the jaws are adapted to coact with shoulders on a closure and container for removing the closure and a notch 26 is provided on one of the handles 14 for removing crown closures.
