[Classes 20(iv) and 87(i)] A corner construction, for walls built of pre-cast blocks &c. erected on edge one above another between vertical standards, is constructed by mounting arcuate elements 1 one above the other between standards 5 at the ends of two adjoining walls arranged mutually at right angles, each arcuate element having a concave recess 2 along the upper curved edge of the convex face and being rebated along the lower curved edge of the concave face to form a depending rib 3, so that the rib of cne element enters the recess of the element below. Vertical tongues 4 on the arcuate elements may fit into vertical grooves (i in the standards, which may abut at the inner edges and be strengthened by angle irons 9. The standards may be formed in two parts with a cavity between. Specification 613,438 is referred to.
