613,003. Glass. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Sept. 19, 1941, No. 12133. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1940. Drawings to Specification. [Class 56] [Also in Group XL (a)] A thin, flat, glass sheet, for use as a target in a cathode-ray television transmission tube, is prepared by blowing a bubble on to a metal ring and then heating it in a furnace until the surface tension draws the glass flat. The thickness may be of the order of 0.001 cms. and the glass is semi-conducting, its volume resistivity varying from 10<SP>9</SP> to 10<SP>12</SP> ohm-cms., preferably 5 x 10<SP>10</SP> ohm-cms.
