Abstract

A wrinkle drying coating composition includes 100 parts by weight of a conjugated double-bonded oil and from 10 to 50 parts by weight of a synthetic butadiene derivative rubber latex. The rubber latex may have a solids content of 51.6 to 56 per cent and may be a butadiene-styrene or butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. The composition may contain 40 to 80 parts by weight of pigment paste which may be composed of two-thirds by weight of pigment and one-third by weight of the oil. Specified oils are tung, oiticica, dehydrated castor (blown or unblown), blown linseed, and alkali isomerized peanut or cottonseed oils.
