Abstract
A wrinkle coating composition comprises an oil containing conjugated double bonds and a synthetic copolymer rubber solution. Specified rubbers are butadiene-styrene and butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers. Specified oils are tung oil, oiticica oil, dehydrated castor oil (blown or unblown), blown linseed oil and alkali isomerized oils prepared from such non-drying oils as peanut oil and cotton seed oil. Specified solvents are the nitroparaffins, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, hydrocarbons, dioxane and dioxolane. Pigments may also be present. The preferred proportions are from 10 to 50 parts by weight of dry rubber per 100 parts by weight of oil. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes the use of neoprene as a rubber. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.ALSO:The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 discloses a composition comprising an oil containing conjugated double bonds and polyvinyl chloride solution. Specified oils are tung oil, oiticica oil, dehydrated castor oil (blown or unblown), blown linseed oil and alkali isomerised oils prepared from such non-drying oils as peanut oil and cotton-seed oil. Specified solvents are the nitroparaffins, hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, dioxane and dioxolane. Pigments may also be present. The preferred proportions are from 10 to 50 parts by weight of dry polyvinyl chloride per 100 parts by weight of oil. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
