[Class 120(iii)] [Also in Group VIII] Yarns of a highly polymerized linear ester of the type disclosed in Specifications 578,079 and 590,451, [both in Group IV], (e.g. potyethylene terephthalate) and used in the production of knitted fabrics (see also Group VIII), may be formed by twisting together continuous filaments or by spinning staple fibres produced by cutting or breaking continuous filaments, preferably after crimping.
