Abstract

610,916. Motor-cycle wind-shields. COMISKEY, A. T. April 9, 1946, No. 10892. [Class 136 (i)] A motor-cycle wind-shield comprises a transparent, curved screen 7, a brace 8 extending across and secured to the back of the screen adjacent the middle portion thereof, a pair of supporting rods 14 having relatively offset upper and lower portions 16 and 17 respectively, the lower portion 17 being vertically and rotatably adjustable in a pair of clamps 21 mountable on opposite sides 4 of a motor-cycle handle-bar structure, and a pair of bosses 12 extending rearwardly from the brace 8 on either side of the screen 7, each having an opening with its axis parallel to the plane of the screen adapted to receive the upper end portion 16 of one of the rods. A brace 6 may be provided, welded to the side 4 of the handle bars for the attachment of the clamps 21.
