610,367. Toasting forks. STOKES, N. F. April 1, 1946, No. 9973. [Class 28(i)] A toasting fork 6-7 is mounted on a height adjustable pillar 3 on a base 2- 1 so that when not in use the fork part can be swung round about a pivot 9 to hang down in dotted line position. The stem of the fork is bifurcated to fit over a disc 8 pivoted in a similar bifurcation at the top of the rod 3. When in toasting position the stem 7 abuts against the top side of the rod 3 to hold the fork horizontal. The telescoping rod 3 is held in adjusted position in the tube 2a by bearing against a friction collar 4 and has another collar 5 mounted on its lower end.
