608,770. Wound protectors. BALAGUER, J. S. Dec. 10, 1945, No. 33320. Convention date, Dec. 11, 1944. [Class 81(ii)] A protector for vaccination scabs, pustules or other skin lesions made of, for instance, light metal, rubber, polyamidic or other synthetic resins comprises an adhesively attached frame c, which may have a flexible base, surrounding the lesion, and a separate cap or lid a, removably secured by mechanical means, such as press studs or snap fasteners f, g, or alternatively by bayonet catches. The cap may be air-tight or may have air apertures to permit respiration, and in either case the cap may be transparent. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 the protectors may be any hollow body with lateral extending fingers secured by annular rings of court plaster or similar adhesive, and the lid may be hinged. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
