[Class 37] A condenser comprises a pair of insulated conductors 2 and 3 extending longitudinally through a tubular casing 8, with a non-inductive condenser unit 1 connected between, and wound around the conductors, the latter extending through or being connected to terminals on the casing end. The unit 1 may be in two halves connected in series, with the junction point electrically connected to the casing 8. In a modification, one or two further condensers may be wound around the outside of the first each connected to one conductor and the casing. Specifications 564,661, 569,060 and 582,669 are referred to.
