643,646. Protective arrangements. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. Sept. 12, 1945, No. 23566. [Class 38 (iv)] An excess voltage protective arrangement for telephone apparatus in an insulating casing and having a number of elements connected with line branches in signal and audiofrequency circuits consists of spark-gaps or voltage dependent resistances connected between the line branches and a conducting body enclosed in the insulating casing and connected to the said elements. The line branches L1, L2 may be connected to carbon lightning arrestors K1, K2, K3 while B represents the connection to a conducting member inside the housing of the telephone apparatus (not shown). If desired, the arrestors may be mounted inside the said housing.
