Abstract

607,237. Powder-blower nozzles. KARK, C. L. Jan. 24, 1946, No. 2372. [Class 81 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] A device for spraying or projecting medicated or other powder comprises a hollow body 1 having a discharge opening 3 and a holder 8 for a powder cartridge 10, the inner wall of the holder being grooved to form conduits 14 through which powder from the cartridge is blown, by pressure of an air bulb 17, and ejected through the orifice 3. The bulb 17 is mounted on an apertured cover 6 having a screw-thread connection with the body 1 and a powder-tight seal may be obtained by interposing a resilient washer. The cover may have a tube held in the duct 16 by a lip or bend and extending into the powder container.
