Abstract

607,230. Handles for buckets &c. ATKINSON, J. Dec. 12, 1945, No. 33631. [Class 66] A bail handle 5 of a bucket &c. can be left standing upright or lying horizontally. The eye 4 of the handle passes through a clearance hole 3 in the ear 2 of the bucket, so that the upper part of the eye 4 may be rested in a notch 6. In a modification, the hole 3 is elongated and receives a pivot pin on the flattened end of the handle, and the notch 6 is engaged by a stud above the pivot pin.
