Abstract
605,241. Tubular heat - exchange elements. VISSER, J. M. Dec. 18, 1945, No. 34328. Convention date, Oct. 9, 1943. [Class 64(iii)] In a. heat-exchanger for fluids in flow comprising an inner tube 2, through which flows one of the heat-exchange fluids, a helical wall 3 extending around the outer surface of the tube, and an outer tube 1 surrounding the inner tube and helical wall to. form a helical path for the other fluid, the helical wall is provided with ducts 4 communicating at their ends with the Spaces on opposite sides of the wall. The inlets of the ducts 4 may be located near the outer circumference of the wall 3 and the outlets near the inner circumference of the wall 3.
