Abstract

604,794. Wrappers. BRITISH CELANESE, Ltd. Dec. 3, 1945, No. 32688. Convention date, Dec. 6, 1944. [Class 94(ii)] A wrapper for yarn packages comprises a sheet of corrugated material having the shape of a sector of an annulus and attached to a backing sheet 3 of flexible material, the backing extending beyond the arcuate edges 7, 8. The corrugated sheet may be kraft paper, strawboard or paper made from chestnut wood, and may be adhesively attached to the backing which is preferably a lighter kraft paper. To give the contents additional protection the wrapper may be treated with oils, waxes, resins or cellulose derivatives or it may provide a double thickness over the contents.
