Abstract

1,088,275. Corrugated wrapping paper. E. S. & A. ROBINSON Ltd. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 1, 1963], No. 30580/63. Heading B8C. [Also in Division B5] A sheet of corrugated paper 2 (Fig. 4), having a discontinuous transverse slit 4 or line of weakening, is laminated to a cover sheet 3 to form a wrapper. Preferably the cover sheet 3 is broken or partly broken near the line of weakening 4 or alternatively is formed from two separate sheets 5, 6 (Fig. 5) overlapping the line 4, so that an article may be unpacked by applying a torque near the slit 4. When the wrapper is used for a fluorescent tube, a cardboard ring may be fitted to each end of the tube and glued to the inside of the wrapper.
