[Class 80 (iii)] [Also in Group XXIX] In a fluid-pressure device for effecting the automatic displacement and stoppage of a member 21 in pre-selected successive positions, a distributer 13 operated by a lever 10 is held in its open position by a mechanism. in a casing 16. Connected to the lever 10 is a rod 14 carrying a bar 15 with a groove 19. A spring-loaded locking member 17 engages this groove to hold the lever 10 in its right-hand position after it has been moved to open the distributer. A lever 38 is then moved to the right, together with its link 39 and bar 40 containing the groove 42. A spring- loaded locking member 43 next engages the groove 42 to keep the distributer locked in its open position and then raises the locking member 17 to disengage it from the groove 19, thereby freeing the lever 10. The locking member 43 disengages the groove 42 when it is forced down by a lever 46 being actuated. through contact with projections 50, 50a, 50b on the member 21. Movement of the member 21 in the reverse direction is controlled by a similar distributer 13a and associated mechanism in casing 16a.
