Abstract
599,724. Velocity-modulation tubes. SPERRY GYROSCOPE CO., Inc. Jan. 4, 1944, No. 23003/46. Convention date, Jan. 6, 1943. Divided out of 599,677. [Class 39 (i)] Reflex electron discharge apparatus comprises a cathode 125 from which an electron stream passes through a resonator 118 and is reflected by a member consisting of a hollow tube 126 having one end opening in alignment with the aperture of the resonator device. As shown, the tube 126 is maintained at cathode potential and its bottom end is closed. It is mounted on the resonator through insulation 131 and a collar 129.
