598,517. Cathode-ray tubes. AVIMO, Ltd., and STEVENS, H. C. M. Nov. 7, 1945, No. 29715. [Class 39 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVI] A mounting for a cathode-ray tube comprises a holder d enclosing a member m carrying sockets n, the said holder being slidably and rotatably mounted in a bracket a by two adjustment rings e, h, located on either side of the bracket. The ring e is in screw-threaded engagement with the holder and the ring h has projections g engaging keyways f in the holder and is secured to the bracket by a screw i passing through an arcuate slot in the ring, said slot allowing limited angular adjustment of the holder. A metal shield formed in two telescopic parts q, q<1> encloses the tube and is secured to the outer end of the holder.
