[Class 44] In a door catch, particularly for ovens, refrigerators &c. of the kind comprising a spring- urged roller on one part co-operating with a cam member c on the other part, the roller d is secured at the outer end of a leaf spring e, the inner end of which is anchored to one of the parts, and means such as a sliding sleeve fare provided to vary the effective stiffness of the spring. Several cam members c, or a continuous strip of triangular section may be provided to co-operate with a munber of rollers.
