Abstract
An internal remedy is obtained by admixing mono-calcium citrate and a water-soluble salt of carbonic acid, e.g. sodium bicarbonate. The composition may also contain citric acid and is preferably proportioned to give an effervescent acid solution when dissolved in water. Other alkali-metal or ammonium carbonates may also be used.
