[Classes 103 (iv) and 103 (vi)] Support is given along the centre line of the bottom of a colliery corve by the addition of an axle bearing A placed on, across or near to.the pit tram drawbar. The bearing is in halves with projecting flanges H on the base which grip the sides.of the drawbar when the two halves of the bearing are drawn together by the bolts. F. Registering projections and recesses. may be made in the base of the bearing and drawbar to steady the bearing and oil holes or nipples may be provided in bottom of the tram. Where a flat bottom tram is used a pair of pedestals may act as distance pieces for the bearings.
